WEKA consists of various machine learning algorithms that can be applied to Data Mining problems. WEKA was developed at the University of Waikato, New Zealand. It is open source and issued under the GNU General Public License. The algorithms in Weka are developed in Java. The input to Weka is given as a data set. Hence the file that is to be uploaded for execution should be in the attribute relation file format (arff). The version used here is weka-3.6.8 (stable). A guideline to understand the basics of WEKA may be found here . To participate in the weka wiki you may clickhere . Also very importantly, to use the weka platform efficiently you may have to go through the javadoc maintained by the Weka development team as it contains all the methods and/or commands to be executed.
